2Essential Formatting Rules

Page Setup

  • Page Size: A4 or US Letter
  • Margins: 2.54 cm (1 inch all sides)
  • Line Spacing: 1.5
  • Line Numbers: Continuous throughout

Typography

  • Main Text: Times New Roman, 12 pt
  • Tables/Figures: Times New Roman, 10 pt

Document Structure

Title Page → Abstract → Keywords → Main Text → References → Tables → Figures → Supplementary Data

Figures & Tables

  • Embed low-resolution versions in main text
  • Attach high-resolution versions separately
  • Formats: .TIFF, .EPS, or .PNG
